Kedma S Ough, MBA, AVITA
As an experienced business development consultant, Ms. Ough has more that 10 years of experience in feasibility assessments, industry analysis, marketing strategies, sales development, funding access, and business processes having analyzed more than 100 industries. Ough received her Master’s in Business Administration through Troy State University and has held leadership or consulting positions at MCI WorldCom, US Bank, SBA’s Women’s Business Centers, and the University of Arizona. Her past awards have included SBA’s Women Champion of the Year, Portland Business Journal’s Orchird award, Product Judge for the National Hardware Show and Innovation Judge for the annual Native American Innovation Conference. In 2008, Ms Ough was hired as the National Expert for Wells Fargo’s Bank Small Business Insights Experts on Funding Sources for Women and Minority-owned Firms. In 2010 Ough completed the licensing certification program through the Licensing International Merchandising Association. In 2011 Inc Magazine cited Ough as an expert on funding sources for minority-owned businesses. Ough is the executive director of the Micro-inventors Program of Oregon and a business professor on business strategy at Portland State University. In addition, she currently serves on the Oregon’s Small Business Advisory Council and the National United Inventors Association. In 2012 Ough will be co-hosting the National Small Business Innovation Research Conference in Portland, Oregon.
